Undrafted in the NHL, Brown signed a two-year, entry level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning on March 28, 2012. In 2011, he was named the Most Outstanding Player award at the 2011 Frozen Four national championship with the Bulldogs ice hockey team, winning the National Championship. Playing career Collegiate īrown attended the University of Minnesota Duluth after playing junior hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Waterloo Black Hawks.
